As you move ahead in your packing, make sure you have organized the packing lists. You want to make sure you have a place for everything. If you have a lot of boxes, this can become a hassle.
If you do not want to do it by yourself, find a professional moving company who will pack for you. Find out where they get their boxes from. Do you need your boxes shipped? Find out what your options are.
You should do your packing in stages. Once you have organized your moving boxes, you can now start the next step in packing.
As you move through your boxes, check them for damage to your boxes. You don't want to have to return boxes that have been damaged. You can also use a moving truck to transport damaged boxes, but you should use your own tools.
When you are done with your move, make sure you have made all the arrangements for your car. You can even hire a moving company to help you with this part. You will want your car to be in good shape when you get it home.
